Hi, we are treebytree, we are a social start-up on a mission to mobilise 100.000.000 people to help restore nature on this planet. Now we are Treebytree, but already this year we will partner with more nature-restoration projects not only in reforestation and become Sidebyside. Why? Because we want to stand side by side with farmers, NGOs, companies, and citizens to work together in making earth liveable and sustainable again. About the role:

As Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for managing and executing a company’s communication strategies. You will play a key role in promoting the brand, our proposition, as well as all our nature-restoration partners activities through various forms of media and communication channels. You will be responsible for actively creating and distributing content that aligns with the company’s marketing and communication objectives.

What we are looking for:

  • Passion for sustainability and alignment with Treebytree’s mission.

  • Proven experience in a marketing role, ideally in sustainability, environmental services, or a related sector.

  • Experience or interest in tech-products.

  • Strong track record of creating content (both text, visuals).

  • Excellent communication and relationship management skills.

  • Leadership skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.

  • Proactive and independent way of working, with an entrepreneurial mindset.

Responsibilities:

  • Content Creation: Developing compelling and informative content for various channels such as the company website, social media, email campaigns, press releases, blogs, brochures, and newsletters.

  • Brand Messaging: Ensuring that all communication materials align with the company’s brand voice and messaging. This includes maintaining consistency across all marketing and communication channels.

  • Campaign Development: Develop communication strategies for marketing campaigns, including new partnerships, new product launches, new features launches, events, or promotional activities.

  • Internal Communication: Facilitating communication within the organisation, such as drafting company announcements, newsletters, or presentations for internal stakeholders.

  • Social Media Management: Overseeing social media content and strategy, including posting, engaging with followers, and analysing performance.

  • Analytics and Reporting: Tracking the performance of marketing communications efforts using analytics tools and reporting on the effectiveness of campaigns in achieving their goals.

  • Collaborating with Cross-functional Teams: Working closely with other departments like product development, sales, and customer support to ensure communication efforts are aligned with broader company objectives.

Required skills and qualifications:

  • Strong Writing and Editing Skills: Ability to craft clear, persuasive, and engaging content for various audiences.

  • Communication Expertise: Skilled at conveying messages both internally and externally, ensuring clarity and coherence.

  • Project Management: Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and adjusting to shifting priorities.

  • Digital Proficiency: Experience with digital marketing tools, social media platforms, email marketing software, and content management systems (CMS).

  • Attention to Detail: Ensuring all communications are accurate, consistent with the brand, and error-free.

  • Analytical Skills: Using data to measure the effectiveness of communication efforts and making adjustments as needed.

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, public relations, or a related field.

  • 5+ years of experience in marketing, communications, or a similar role.

  • Familiarity with digital marketing tools like Google Analytics, social media management platforms, and email marketing software.
